Carina and The Summer Games

Once upon a time there was a cat named Carina.

Carina was a beautiful cat, and she always tried her best to be a good friend. Over the years, Carina made many friends on her walks around town, and sometimes she joined in the kitty cat games that they planned. This was a lot of fun for Carina, because she was able to run and jump with her friends, and they all laughed and smiled from all the fun. When summer time came around, many of the younger kitty cats would come out to play because they didn’t have to go to school until autumn. Mostly it was fun to have all of the younger kitty cats to play with, but some of the older cats were disappointed that they had to share the games.

Now, when summer would come around, Carina would be extra careful to choose the right games to play with the other kitty cats.

She didn’t want any of the kitty cats to feel disappointed. She wanted them all to have fun! Carina would choose games to play that would allow her to be on a team, like baseball, soccer, and cheerleading. She liked games such as tennis, swimming, and golf as well, but she saved those games for playing when she was alone. Since all of the kitty cats were out and about for summer time, she found many of her kitty cat friends to make teams with, and there were new kitty cats joining the teams as well. Each cat on each team would have a chance to play in the games, and to work together with their team to try to win.

Carina had a lot of fun playing team sports and games!

Sometimes the team she was playing on would win the game, and sometimes the other team would win. Each time Carina was so happy for the winning team, and she felt very proud when the winning team was a team that she played on. All of the teams had fun, even if they didn’t win, so all of the kitty cats felt proud inside, because they had worked together, made new friends, and shared the summer games. When it was time for the kitty cats to go back to school in the autumn, they all had fun and exciting stories to tell to their classmates about summer time, and playing kitty cat games as a team. Carina was glad that she helped so many of the kitties to have a great summer, and that made the summer games something that she looked forward to every single year.
